How To Show Up In Your Best.

In a world full of competition, showing up as the best version of yourself is very crucial to your overall success in any situation. Here are a few ways you can show up first rate.

1. Be hungry for excellence. Always be in the hunt for new ways to show up first rate. Aim for becoming and doing the best you can. Let this excellence shine through in your life and to the people you interact with.

2. Focus on the needs of others and give them your best. When you put others first you will be blessed. Look for ways to bless others and share your excellence.

3. Be on time or early. If you show up even a minute too late to a meeting, it's already too late. Being excellent means being punctual. Arriving to your destination a few minutes early will set the stage for you to be on time and show that you care.

4. Manners. Fine tune your manners. Everything you do is on display when you are in public. When you have any interactions with others, always be your best. Look for new ways to be the exception.

5. Don't underestimate yourself. Never limit yourself as to how much you think you can do. Go beyond your expectations of yourself and set the stage for excellence. Work hard so you show up accomplished and someone to be role modeled.

6. Stay in a higher state. Try to be above your human reactions to things that don't go your way. Stay in the mode of expecting things to go right. When things go wrong, its easy to react to what went wrong. Instead, focus on solutions to fix what went wrong and focus on what is going right for you. Switching your focus will allow more things to go right in your life.

7. Show up presentable. Not only do your mannerisms play an important part in your self presentation but also your attire. We are often judged at first glance by others as to whether we are credible or not. Do you show up as someone that is taken seriously and is respectable? Or do you show up as a person that is slovenly, careless, and unintentional about your dress?

8. Follow through and go the extra mile. In everything you do always go beyond what is expected. Be someone that is reliable and follows through. Don't only do what is expected of you, look for ways to do more.

9. Use awareness. Be aware of your situation, your status, and place at all times when interacting with others. Interact appropriately. Always show respect. Be open to showing up as an inspiration to others with the gifts, talents, or insight that you have to bring to the table.

10. Learn from the best. Shoot for the stars with your aspirations and goals. Look for those who did well in your field and try to go beyond what they did. In all things show up as excellent and strive for excellence.
