Five Tips to Prosperity

Prosperity is a subject that has always fascinated me. How is it that there are people who acquire great wealth with ease, while others who wish to be wealthy have a hard time attaining it.

The process to attaining and keeping wealth boils down to five simple steps. I'm sharing them with you because they worked for me.

1. Vision. Have a vision of what wealth looks like to you. Set an intention and have expectation as to how much wealth you would like to attain. Don’t let your prosperity perish for lack of expectations and a vision. Follow up your expectations and vision with action. The scriptures say in Proverbs 29:18. "Where there is no vision the people perish."

2. Action. Stay diligent and take action toward your dreams. Working towards creating your wealth will bring you closer to it. Be a finisher. When you get things done this allows energy for you to continue to be more diligent and finish more things. Action will move you towards your goals and draw them to you. Diligence will take you far in life.

3. Flow. Back up the action by staying in the flow. Be open minded to new opportunities coming your way. Opportunity comes when you are in the flow and of an open mind. See the treasure in every interaction and option presented to you in life. You can accept opportunity if you are prepared. Stay prepared by using all your gifts and talents and taking yourself as far as you can go with them. Opportunity will come in many forms. Trust that the right opportunities will come and be ready to accept them.

4. Giving. By giving to others you bring wealth into your world. It’s not about the amount you give but "how" you give to others. Give without expecting back from those you gave to. Give with faith that God will bless you. Give in every opportunity that you can.

5. Gratitude. Gratitude backed by action. Practicing good stewardship for the things entrusted with you is key to drawing more blessings to you. This would include cleaning and doing upkeep on what you have. Think of yourself as a steward. The things you take care of on the earth such as cars, homes, children, etc are given to you as a test to see if you can be entrusted with more. When you take good care of what you have, more will added to you.
